About the event

An overview of what this War to End All Wars meant to our region, using the journal of P. H. Moore to share how this period of time influenced the world, and our region. Our Dinner to go with the Story of Paul Handy Moore's meal of Christmas 1917 while serving in Frane as an ambulance driver, will include several French recipes; We begin with appetizers - Deviled Eggs, Baked Brie, and Pate. Moving to the first course, we have French Market Soup and Salad Nocoise. The main corse will feature Roast Turkey with French Bread Dressing, along with roasted root vegetables. Available to wash this all down will be French wines, fruit infused water, and French Champagne. All of which Paul Handy Moore partook while in the service of the Ampulance Corps during 1917-18.
